How we judge

We don't write reviews. We listen to them.

ReviewGod brings product reviews together so you can compare what reviewers say and open the original videos. Each reviewer can cast at most one vote. A source can still be shown without a buying verdict; the card explains when it is not counted.

The weighting

Reviewers1×
Sponsoredexcluded

One reviewer, at most one vote. Sources identified as sponsored or possibly sponsored do not vote. We do not give extra weight to a louder voice.

Four steps to a verdict

01

Listen

We gather current YouTube reviews with enough depth to assess the product. Passing mentions do not vote.

02

Weight

Each reviewer can cast at most one vote. Sources identified as sponsored or possibly sponsored cast none.

03

Resolve

Counted votes can produce Recommended, Mixed, or Against. A useful source can still have a summary without giving a buying verdict; that summary is context, not a vote.

04

Watch

New takes can change the result. A public verdict needs current buying verdicts from two distinct YouTube channels. Products may appear earlier as catalog listings without a verdict.

Honest answers

Do affiliate links affect the verdict?+

Never. Buy links may earn a commission. They do not change which reviews count or how votes are tallied.

Can a brand pay to be recommended?+

No. Sources we identify as sponsored or possibly sponsored do not vote.

What if there aren't enough sources?+

A public verdict needs current buying verdicts from two distinct YouTube channels. A product may appear sooner as a catalog listing, or with sources that do not vote. Until the page has enough evidence for a verdict: Still sniffing this one. No verdict yet.
